Her first love as a singer has taken her in numerous musical directions, from various recording projects to fronting her own 10 piece Rhythm and Blues band. As well as singing backing vocals for recording artists such as Chaka Khan, Rik Emmet and is currently singing with Glass tiger.

She has also performed with Classic Albums live, as well as recording the theme song “Pride of the Maple Leafs”; singing the national anthems to sold out Blue Jay’s and Raptor’s crowds and most recently recording the theme song for the Special Olympics.

Karen’s musical theatre credits include; a leading roll in the Mirvish production of the rock musical “Rent” and Brad Fraser’s “Outrageous” at Canadian Stage.

She is also known globally for her uncanny impersonation of Tina Turner. Her show has taken her to Las Vegas, Australia, Singapore, Berlin and even the North Pole. You may also recognize Karen’s voice as the voice over spokesperson in numerous television and radio ads.

Karen’s television credits include such projects as This is Wonderland, Trailer Park Boys, US hit series Playmakers and she has just wrapped up a season playing the roll of Angela Huntley in the US series Runaway.
